The tank pilot operated breather valve is a safety valve installed on the breather valve tank. When the breather valve fails or cannot be effectively started, and the internal and external pressure of the tank loses balance and exceeds the specified value, the hydraulic safety valve will automatically start to work to protect the tank from damage; Used together with breather valve, it has the function of double insurance to protect storage tank; The hydraulic safety valve shall be matched with the flame arrester of the same specification, which is especially suitable for the use in the cold climate areas in the north. It is widely used in oil fields, petrochemical plants, oil depots and other storage tanks for storing liquid media such as crude oil, gasoline, kerosene, diesel, aromatics and so on.
Working principle of tank pilot breather valve
With the promulgation of clean air regulations, this part of the released gas usually needs to be recovered to the steam control system (including overhead flare system, closed flare system, burner, catalytic incineration system and waste gas boiler).
When the liquid inside the container changes, the pressure in the container also changes quietly. An increase in feed or temperature will cause an increase in pressure in the vessel.
The pressure also acts on the pilot operated pressure / vacuum relief valve ". Pressure is applied to the disc guide and actuator. This gives the actuator power.
Of course, when the pressure of the tank pilot breathing valve reaches the set value, the pilot valve will be pushed open, the valve disc will be opened at the same time, and the steam in the pilot valve and actuator will be squeezed and then flow out.
The steam is sent to the control system (recovery, incineration, catalysis) through the fan
The back pressure is balanced, the pressure is released, and the container is rescued.
