When the medium is pumped out of the tank, so that the pressure in the upper gas space in the tank decreases to reach the operating negative pressure of the explosion-proof fire-proof breathing valve, the atmosphere outside the tank will open the negative pressure valve disc of the explosion-proof fire-proof breathing valve, so that the external gas enters the tank, so that the pressure in the tank will not continue to decline, so that the air pressure inside and outside the tank is balanced to protect the safety device of the tank, and the exhaled and inhaled gas needs to pass through the explosion-proof fire-proof ripple, The fire source can enter the storage tank.

1. The breather valve shall be installed at the ≤ point of the gas source of the storage tank to reduce the evaporation loss of materials and smoothly provide * direct and * large access to the breather valve. Generally, for vertical tanks, the breather valve should be installed within the central roof of the tank top as far as possible. For tanks that need to be equipped with thermal insulation layer on the tank top, it can be installed near the ladder platform;
2. When two breather valves need to be installed, they should be arranged symmetrically with the center of the tank top;
3. If the breather valve is used on the nitrogen sealed tank, the connecting pipe of the nitrogen supply pipe should be far away from the breather valve interface and inserted into the tank about 200mm from the top of the tank, so that the nitrogen will not be directly discharged after entering the tank, so as to achieve the purpose of nitrogen sealing.
