Installation and Operation Manual for Fluorine Lining Diaphragm Valve
1. Valves should be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and stacking is strictly prohibited.
2. Both ends of the inventory valve passage must be sealed to prevent foreign objects from entering the inner cavity and damaging the sealing components. And contact with oil or other flammable substances should be avoided.
3. The metal machined surface of the fluorine lined diaphragm valve should be cleaned of dirt and coated with rust inhibitor.
4. Do not apply oil or grease on the surface of the rubber lining or rubber diaphragm to avoid rubber swelling and affecting the service life of the valve.
During storage or shutdown, the handwheel should be rotated counterclockwise to keep the valve in a slightly open state to avoid losing elasticity of the diaphragm due to long-term pressure.
During transportation or installation, the sling should not be tied to the handwheel or valve stem. It is strictly prohibited to collide with other metals or hard objects to prevent damage to the parts and lining. String 6
Before installation, it is necessary to carefully check whether the operating conditions and medium of the pipeline match the specified application range of the fluorine lined diaphragm valve, to avoid unnecessary losses caused by improper selection, which may lead to accidents.
8. Except for not suitable for vacuum pipelines, fluorine lined diaphragm valves can be installed in any position of the pipeline for bidirectional flow, but convenient operation and maintenance should be ensured.
9. During installation, the inner cavity of the valve body should be cleaned to prevent dirt from blocking or damaging the sealing components, and the connecting bolts of each part should be checked for uniform tightening.
10. During operation, it is necessary to regularly check the components in contact with the medium and replace vulnerable parts according to actual usage.
11. When replacing the diaphragm, be careful not to tighten or loosen the diaphragm too tightly.
12. If fluorine lined diaphragm valves are used on intermittent operating pipelines, the parts in contact with the medium should be cleaned during the shutdown period to extend their service life.
When manually operating the longitudinal valve, it is not allowed to use an auxiliary lever to open and close the valve, in order to avoid damaging the driving parts or sealing parts due to excessive torque.
14. After maintenance, the valve must undergo a sealing test according to relevant testing regulations before application, and can only be installed after passing the test. And make maintenance records for future reference.
